Eco Credentials
We give you the option to put the planet first when renovating your space. Find out more about our eco credentials…
Eco Decorating Made Accessible
Our number one goal is to help you renovate your space and achieve the results you want by offering sustainable painting and decorating services and materials that are kinder to the planet than many traditional painters and decorating practices where we can.
We approach every job with an eco-conscious mindset and we are always looking for ways to become more sustainable
How Do We Do It?
Eco By Design’s environmentally friendly approach to painting and decorating reaches every corner of our business, from our materials to our vehicles and the choices we give our customers.
UK Sourced Paints
We source all our paints from UK based suppliers to keep our carbon footprint low.
Tools That are Made to Last
We don’t use throwaway tools. We invest in quality hardware that we can use again and again.
Minimal Single Use Plastics
We do our best to source and use either biodegradable or reusable materials, like dust sheets, paint trays and masking tape.
Metal Paint Tins
We try to only use metal paint tins, never plastic. Metal is 100% recyclable and can be recycled infinitely without diminishing in quality.
Electric Van
Our work van is 100% electric. We can get to you in a way that is sustainable and cost-effective.
Responsibly Sourced, Non-Toxic Materials
We give you the option to choose paints that are low or free from VOCs (volatile organic compounds), and paints that are free from synthetic chemicals.
Carbon Offsetting
We give our customers the option to offset the carbon footprint created by the job, by funding a emissions reducing project elsewhere.
Alex and Vicky did an amazing job for us we had most of our house painted kitchen living room and bedrooms. They are meticulous and make sure they use the right paints for withstanding our busy house and the results are fabulous. I left Alex pretty much to all the colour choices and he has an amazing eye. I couldn’t be happier! On top of all this they are a joy to have in your home which make all the hassle that little bit easier. 10/10 easily.
